Benvoy’s story
Jo bought Benvoy for a consortium of owners, with different types of ownership so people could get involved at a level they could afford. Among them are the long-suffering #TheseGirlsCan ladies, who kindly opened their syndicate to some of our other owners (including men!).
He’s by Fastnet Rock out of a Montjeu mare and is a half-brother to some lovely horses. He quickly became a yard favourite: he has the best temperament and is always willing to learn.
Benny knew nothing about jumping when he arrived, but after plenty of patient schooling he took to it. He has now won twice over hurdles, including a Grade 2, and Jo has high hopes for him this season.
