A life with horses
Jo’s love of horses started early. It’s said she could ride before she could walk, and while still at school she competed successfully at showjumping and eventing.
In more than 25 years in racing she has never stopped learning about what different horses need. She firmly believes every horse is an individual, and that a trainer’s job is to find out what it takes to get the best out of each one.
Training always starts with a horse that’s healthy, well looked after and enjoying its work. Together with the facilities at Common Farm, that means owners can be confident their horses get every chance to succeed, in an environment where their welfare comes first.
Straight talking, always
Owners here get honest updates, good news and bad. Every ownership group has its own regularly updated WhatsApp group, and owners are always welcome at the yard.
